Compare and contrast the use of welding and mechanical joining processes in the manufacture of a steel table made from aluminum having 10 possible joint points. Discuss the advantages and limitations of each joining process in terms of joint strength, weight, durability, and ease of manufacture. Provide a recommendation for which joining process would be most suitable for this application and explain your reasoning.

• First. identify the joining requirements for the steel table, e.g. material, number of joints. Then, identify ONE suitable welding process and ONE suitable mechanical joining process to join the individual joints for the table. Describe how each joining process works for this purpose (CO1 PO1 C4)
• Discuss the advantages and limitations of each joining process in terms of joint strength, weight, durability, and ease of manufacture (CO2 PO3 C4).
• Select the best joining process from the two that you have identified previously. Justify your reasoning (CO2 PO3 C4)
